HEY I AM A TOTAL SLACKER!!

OKAY NOW THAT I HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET BACK INTO THE BLOG, I WON'T BE SUCH A SLACKER.

Just wanted to give everyone a little update. I am 18 weeks along, and we go in on July 12th to have an ultra sound to see if its a boy or a girl. Luckily the sick part of the pregnancy is over, just dealing with the heartburn now. Kaden is convinced that it is a baby sister, but we will see. I heard the heartbeat of the baby and it was a lot faster than I remember Kaden's being, so we will see if that has anything to do with it.

Work has been good, and we have been busy. I had to let go one of the general managers we had in training, he ended up being a total loser. In the whole month he was with us he called in 3 times. I thought he would actually want a job with us?!? I don't get it. I have been busy trying to teach a lot of things that I do to different people so that I will not feel overwhelmed when the time draws nearer.

Justin has taken over Park Mall. He enjoys it there and just promoted an assistant manager for himself. Justin Monzingo, you might know the family there are in our ward. Very nice people and Justin M is doing an amazing job. Justin is also working on setting up a website for us, and learning how we make a little extra money. Any suggestions, pump them this way. We are still in the primary teaching the five year olds and it is a ton of fun. They are so funny and especially energetic. We bring a little snack of carrots or crackers or grapes to keep them a tied over while we do the lesson, but overall they are really great kids.

Kaden is getting SO BIG! He has started to use the potty, and decided he is big enough to go now. He decides for the day if he wants to wear his shrek or cars underwear or his diaper, and usually picks the underwear. He is starting to tell us that he needs to use the potty and that has been a relief. We haven't pushed to issue at all, just let him decide when he is ready since life is so busy. For the most part though Justin and I work opposite shifts, so Kaden is home most of the day which makes it much easier for him. He says lots of funny things now. On Sunday he was being really roudy, and kept saying poopyhead (wonder where he learned that one from) and so Justin said "I will make you a poopyhead" and farted on his head. The funny part was Kaden got really serious and said "Daddy I want to see it." and we were both like "See what?" and Kaden says "I want to see the poop Daddy" Kaden had thought that Justin had pooped his pants, and I laughed until I was crying. He also totally siked out Mom the other day. He went over to Mom and Dad's house to play while Sebastien came over to pull the weeds in the backyard and earn some money. Mom always give him oranges in a cup. So Mom says "Come up here and sit by me and I will give you some oranges." So he goes up on their bed gets the oranges, climbs back down and goes "Just Kidding" He is way too smart for his own good. But he makes us laugh a lot.

Well hopefully, that gives you all a little update as to how everything is going. How all is well.

  1. Kids are so much fun. Desi it is so good to hear from you and hear the cute and funny things that happen in your lives. It helps me feel more connected to what is going on back there even though we are so far apart. I can't wait for an excuse to come back there and visit. I guess we will have to wait for Nick or Curt to finally decide to set wedding dates to plan our trips(I wouldn't want to plan a trip and then have them decide to get married and not have the money to come back for the wedding). Anyways Love you lots.
