Framing!

Well we've been here in the K C Area for just short of 2 years... 22 months to be exact. We are just finally starting to finish our basement. At least we have really started other than just kick around ideas on how we want to do it. We have had a basic design for over a year, but every time we went down there to talk about it it changed. They started building a house next to us an the builder was willing to sell us the wood we needed to frame it. And lucky us Zach's buddy from school was a framer! (Before going to school and now doing the same thing Zach does) So I got the wood and about 3 long weeks later we got it framed. (Having the wood to do it was killing me that it wasn't done yet, but weekends sure get filled up fast! and we had to keep putting it off) So Carter's room is finally framed with our final a layout. I really like how it turned out. His room will be nice and big and we figured out the closet thing which we had been having a hard time with. Now I love the whole thing. It will still be a couple of months till we get the electricity done down there (We don't have a free weekend for a while) and then the sheet rock mud tape sand paint carpet.... Hopefully we get it done before we end up moving someplace else : ) . It seems like it might take forever, However we are hoping to have it done by Carter's birthday.
