Kaden's Birthday

Kaden had a Batman birthday. We had a few of our friends over, because we are still getting to know the area and didn't know too many kids Kaden's age. How sad. But Kaden had a really good time opening gifts and blowing out his birthday candles. He could hardly wait for everyone to finish eating pizza before blowing out his candles. He was so excited!

He didn't really care what was in the gifts, just wanted to keep opening more presents.

Here is his awesome birthday cake. He LOVED it. I thought it turned out really cute. I printed a template out on the internet, and then I frosted it so I could get the batman symbol on there. It was so cute after that. I loved it and I know that Kaden loved it. Now he can't wait for his next birthday on January 12th he says.

And how time flies when you become a parent. Kaden's pregnancy went by fairly quickly, but it seems that the past five years have flown by. I truly understand now, what Mom and Dad were saying that before they knew it all the kids were grown up and moving on. I believe it with how fast the time has gone by with trying to raise two energetic boys. I love being a mom, and I have started this year to write the boys a letter on their birthdays from me, so they can know and I can reflect back on how they have grown and how their personalities grow and develop through the years.
