Our Air Conditioner Broke

I have added Air Conditioner Repair to my resume! Our air conditioner went out on the 27th by the 28th our house was something more of a sauna. I had Zach look at it on the 27th and he had figured out what was wrong but it was after 5 and there was no where to go get the part. So the following morning I loaded up the kids and trekked downtown to a supply store where they sold the part. After calling them to make sure they had it and having them tell me that I had to actually bring in the part for them to give me the new one. I called Zach and he thought I could pull it out myself in just a few min. So I gave it a try and what do you know it worked. It took me longer to look up the directions to the store on mapquest than it did to take the part out. Down to the store and back new part in in only abt 5 min and back to our friends house to wait while the house cooled back down. The indoor temp read 88 and it was pretty humid outside to make it worse.

What was broken? the Capacitor.

This might remind you of this movie and the flux Capacitor. And it really does take you back in time to an age without Air Conditioning.

We are all very grateful to have the technology we do today and the air conditioning that keeps us cool when the weather is just too hot outside.
