Today Kendall attempted to duplicate his scar on her face. She missed her nose, not by much, and cut open her lip between her nose and her upper lip. Unlike Dylan they were not able to just "glue" it back together and she ended up with approximately 12 stitches.
It happened not on a scooter but playing at a park. Luckily for us we were there with a friend who was more than willing to take the other 4 kids to her house at that moment when I told her I had to go to the ER.
I was quite shaken by time we got to the ER. Zach met us on the way because after getting her out of the car at Urgent Care and realizing they weren't quite open I about lost it. On we went to St Lukes about 2 miles down the road. on that part of the drive I decided to call Zach and have him meet me there and keep me and Kendall calm. Probabaly more me calm at that point. Kendall had stopped crying and was telling me it was ok she just had had a bloody nose and since I told her we were going to the dr she was more concerned that they needed to take the wart off her knee than with the fact that she needed her nose fixed.
She did great though. Held totally still while they applied a topical numbing agent and about 30 min later they sewed her up and she only flinched on 1 of the 12 stiches about #10. She got some fun toys out of it too. A new teddy Bear appropriatly named Stich and a water gun. (which is actually a big siringe. She was even smiling as we left. I thanked the dr who had done her rotations with a plastic surgen and did a great job sewing her up. We go back in 5 days to have the stiches removed.

afterwards with daddy and her teddy and water gun.
Her cloths were soaked in blood as I had taken off the dress she was wearing to catch the blood when she cut it open. When the nurse realized I didn't have any cloths for her to wear home she went and grabbed a kids hospital gown. She was quite excited to put it on to wear home.
the pictures aren't the best as they were taken with my phone but at least you can tell she was doing ok.
