Christmas

We spent Christmas in Salt Lake City this year with my parents. It was the first in 5+years since we had all been together for Christmas. The drive was quite long on the way there, but the way home was so peaceful quiet that I wondered if we had the same three kids we had driven there with. Dylan asked the question "are we there yet" about every 3 minutes on the way there. It started about the time we left Kansas City city limits. On the way home he didn't even ask once. He was too busy playing his DS that he got for Christmas. What a blessing those were.
Kendall got a "DS" too but hers looks more like a leap frog. She didn't seem to mind the difference as hers was pink. Christmas was great visiting with family all over the area back there.

Family Picts

We finally made it in to have another family picture taken. The most current one before today had Kendall at a year old. As you can tell from this first picture we all had a great time. We are very happy with the results.

Randomness

This would be a picture of Trey just relaxing in the kitchen while I was doing the dishes and the girls decided he needed some sunglasses. Super Cool kid
Ben helping work on a wall with his buddy Dennis. They have a huge dirt mountain in the backyard right now so they were making a ramp around the mound to use for the wheelbarrow.
Brody getting ready to play with left over pie crust dough. Strange little face
This is how I found Takoda one afternoon right before we had to leave for church. She was curled up on the kitchen rug and sound asleep. What a Cutie
I found Shelby at nap time one day asleep on the desk while watching big brother play on the computer. She just couldn't fight sleep any longer. Silly girl

Kendall's 1st Hair Cut

*Before we left.

*my camera quit on me so I only got a few pictures.

Yes, she is 3 but I have not yet cut her hair until last Friday. The ends were getting to be a little ratty (is that even a word?) So I called a friend who cuts my hair and set up an appointment for the two of us to go get a hair cut. Kendall was so excited until we got there. Then a little shy, but quickly warmed up and loves her hair. You can't tell much of a difference as we didn't cut much off but it sure makes a big difference when doing her hair and how well it lays.

This is the next day as my camera quit during the hair cut

Power Play

We went down to Power Play in Kansas for a friend's birthday party. The kids sure had fun at this indoor amusement park.

I think the rocket was Kendall and Dylan's favorite, Carter's was riding the go Karts, (Dylan and Kendall were too small for them so we had to do something else while Carter dove hence no go cart pictures, They loved the bumper cars too.

Halloween 2009.

Carter and Dylan decided to be Rex a clone leader from Star Wars the Clone Wars. Unless you know which one is which it is really hard to tell with their masks on. Here is a cute picture just before we went trick or treating. Kendall had been crazy about Tinkerbell for quite a while now. If you remember her birthday party was Tinkerbellish too. The second picture is her with her wings. The night of the ward trunk or treat we hadn't found them yet and she was quite upset that she "tinkerbell" didn't have wings on. So when I found them in time for trick or treating Saturday night she was so excited she had to get dressed right away. This picture of just her is right after she got her costume on.
