Kendall's 1st Hair Cut

*Before we left.

*my camera quit on me so I only got a few pictures.

Yes, she is 3 but I have not yet cut her hair until last Friday. The ends were getting to be a little ratty (is that even a word?) So I called a friend who cuts my hair and set up an appointment for the two of us to go get a hair cut. Kendall was so excited until we got there. Then a little shy, but quickly warmed up and loves her hair. You can't tell much of a difference as we didn't cut much off but it sure makes a big difference when doing her hair and how well it lays.

This is the next day as my camera quit during the hair cut

Power Play

We went down to Power Play in Kansas for a friend's birthday party. The kids sure had fun at this indoor amusement park.

I think the rocket was Kendall and Dylan's favorite, Carter's was riding the go Karts, (Dylan and Kendall were too small for them so we had to do something else while Carter dove hence no go cart pictures, They loved the bumper cars too.

Halloween 2009.

Carter and Dylan decided to be Rex a clone leader from Star Wars the Clone Wars. Unless you know which one is which it is really hard to tell with their masks on. Here is a cute picture just before we went trick or treating. Kendall had been crazy about Tinkerbell for quite a while now. If you remember her birthday party was Tinkerbellish too. The second picture is her with her wings. The night of the ward trunk or treat we hadn't found them yet and she was quite upset that she "tinkerbell" didn't have wings on. So when I found them in time for trick or treating Saturday night she was so excited she had to get dressed right away. This picture of just her is right after she got her costume on.

Fall has defiantly set in. The leaves are changing colors and we have even had to pull out coats and gloves and hats to stay warm while playing outside.

Thus far the jeep has been well used. They run the battery down to nothing almost every day. We charge it all night and are ready to go again the next day. Nothing stops them from playing outside except the rain.

If you have ever wondered why Kendall is so daring and scared of nothing and tries to do crazy stunts. Just look at her older brother who also has no fear. Standing up riding with no hands?

The kids don't seem to mind too much they still ask to go outside and play and be in the cold. It is time to invest in Hot Chocolate again!
Columbus Day at the Zoo. I don't have many pictures of the animals that were in the cages. I took pictures of the animals trying to get into the cages. After arriving home I told Dylan we should have left him in the cage with the monkeys. He just smiled.

You can't see their feet but they are standing about half way up the fence hanging on.

Carter sure is growing up to be quite the cutie! Doesn't he just have the best smile!
Here is a good pic of the earrings Kendall picked out. She still loves them so much. She is such a big girl and insists that she be the one to twist them every day while they are healing. I insist on cleaning them but she gets to push them in and out and twist.
