Dad was supposed to go home on Wednesday. The basement wasn't quite done and still needed some work. Thankfully he stayed just a little bit longer and helped us get it ready for carpet. I couldn't have been more greatful for all his hard work and long hours that he put in down there.

He tiled, installed the sink and toilet, and put in a shelf in Carter's closet, He also cut and installed the trim around the entire basement. By time he went home it was ready to paint and install carpet.

Meanwhile, I was upstairs watching the kids get their groove on playing DDR. This happens to be Kendall's favorite game.





While Dad was here he was able to watch Dylan and Carter play a few games of baseball. The boys were so excited to have him there to watch. He even got to go to one of Zach's games too.

Isn't Dylan just the cutest catcher you ever did see!

Dad left Friday morning and Zach and I continued our quest to finish the basement before Heidi and John get here on Friday the 25th.
