Columbus Day at the Zoo. I don't have many pictures of the animals that were in the cages. I took pictures of the animals trying to get into the cages. After arriving home I told Dylan we should have left him in the cage with the monkeys. He just smiled.

You can't see their feet but they are standing about half way up the fence hanging on.

Carter sure is growing up to be quite the cutie! Doesn't he just have the best smile!
Here is a good pic of the earrings Kendall picked out. She still loves them so much. She is such a big girl and insists that she be the one to twist them every day while they are healing. I insist on cleaning them but she gets to push them in and out and twist.

A little Update from the Page Family

Ok a long update from the Page Family. . .
I am now 36 weeks along. The past couple of weeks I have been showing signs of preeclampsia. About three weeks ago, the doctor found protein in my urine, and my blood pressure was a little high. The doctor thought that I might have a urinary tract infection and sent a test out to see. It came back normal, but was still concerned since I had this issue when I was pregnant with Kaden. My blood pressure has gone done in the past couple of weeks, but the protein in my urine has not gone away. Monday I had to go in and do some blood work and urine tests to determine if the preeclampsia was bad or progressing. I had to collect my urine for 24 hours to test it. It came back with over 350 mg of protein in my urine, which anything over 300 is considered for preeclampsia. However, my doctor is not too concerned since my blood pressure is good. On Friday, my blood pressure was only 110/78.

I have been have some contractions the past few weeks, and hoping that the baby will come sooner rather than later. I am feeling what Lynette was feeling with Kendall in the last part, and want nothing more to have this baby.

I have been an emotional wreck lately. I have been so exhausted, I can not wait until this baby comes, and it feels like the days are going by so slow. It doesn’t help that all I want to do is sleep, and my poor children probably feel like they have a walking zombie for a mom right now.

Justin has decided to go back to school. He is still deciding what he wants to do for sure, but is leaning heavily towards a career in the medical field. He is looking at either a anesthesiology assistant or a physical therapist, both of which takes six years of schooling. I never thought I would I would see him go back to school, but I am excited for him that he has finally made a decision as to what he would like to do. I don’t think Justin was ready before now, but he wishes that he would have gone to school ten years ago. You live you learn, and there is nothing we can do to change the past, but we can look forward to the future. It will be a long hard road for us, but it will be worth it in the end.

Kaden and Kaleb are doing fine. Kaden is doing really well in soccer, and is having a great time. He gets so excited when he scores a goal, and tries really hard to defend the goal. If the other team takes the ball he will run all the way down to the other side of the field to defend the goal so that they don’t score. He gets the most excited when he scores though. You can see his little face light up and he is so proud of himself. Kaleb is finally starting to talk a little bit more. He is finally trying to sound out words, and has been saying a lot more lately. I tried to potty train him a few weeks ago, but to no luck. He didn’t even want to try and sit on the toilet. I tried to get Kaden to show him how, but Kaleb still wanted nothing to do with it. I guess we will try when things calm down here, after the baby is born.

One last thing, if anyone knows of anyone that is getting rid of 0-6 months boys clothes for more winter wear, I am in desperate need. I don’t know what happened to all my baby clothes but I only have a few things. Anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, love you all and miss you terribly.

Birthday Finally

Pink Flower Earrings.

The last thing Kendall wanted for birthday were earring that didn't hurt. So this morning I called around to a couple of stores to find out who would have someone to do both ears at the same time.
She was so excited to go get them done. She sat so brave and afterwards a lady walked by and said, "How cute, I didn't even hear them do it" Well she couldn't have as Kendall didn't make a sound. And when we walked out and I asked if it hurt she told me "No, they stopped hurting." She was still thrilled about them when we got home and she let me take her picture with them.

Dylan's lost tooth!

Also yesterday morning amide all the excitement Dylan lost his first tooth!

Sweet 3!

Kendall turns 3 today! I can hardly believe that 3 years ago she joined our family. Boy has she sure grown up. We decided to have just a little party with Isabella and Sydney. She was so excited!

This morning she woke up to her very own Barbie Jeep. We hadn't plugged in the battery early enough so she didn't get to drive it outside until this afternoon, but they had a ton of fun playing in it all day in the living room.

For her little party I made all the girls little tutu's. Wands to go with the "princess" theme and bracelets. They loved these. Thanks to Grandma Ogilvie who sent us how to make them.

The girls danced to some songs with their wands and ribbons, played, ate lunch and had cake and ice cream. What more could you want at a party!

A tinker bell cake for our little "princess" (She has a Tinkerbell costume as that is what she is going to be for Halloween)

Happy Birthday Kendall We love you!

A little slow

about 2 1/2 weeks before school started Zach's dad was kind enough to come visit and play with the kids for a few days while I attended Youth Conference. Then he stayed and helped Zach sheet rock the basement. We called it a working vacation. He said he did have a good time. Kendall still asks when grandpa is coming back and talks about going to see Ice Age with Grandpa. I think the kids might have had as much fun as he did. I should have left the camera with him instead of taking it with me becuase I didn't use it at Youth Conference. But here are a few of them working.

The boys have been in school for 3 weeks now and I'm just getting around to putting first day of school pictures up, but we have been pretty busy the last few weeks of summer and the first part of school. School is going well for both Dylan and Carter. They have great teachers who are excited to be there.

I started taking the girls, to library time the first week they read books about puppies and watched a short video/book about a puppy who didn't bark. Then they do a craft and they made puppy ears. I thought they looked so cute so I took this picture after we got home while they were eating lunch.

Another exciting thing that happened this summer is that Carter earned his wolf. He is still working on arrow points. He was very excited about this great accomplishment. It took me a while to get his patches on his uniform but he now has his uniform with all the patches and lots of belt loops too. He is a hard worker and very motivated. He loves going to scouts.

Last but not least Zach is doing much better. His back is healing slowly and things are pretty much back to normal around here. If this is what you call "normal".
